How To Order Test:
To request a test for KIT and PDGFRA gene mutations, please send a block of paraffin-embedded tumor to the address listed below. If a block is not available, then 15 unstained slides can be sent. It is possible to perform the test on small biopsy samples, but the success rate is lower than for tumor resection specimens because there is less starting material. A copy of the original pathology report identifying the submitted block and slides, as well as patient billing information, is required.
